Bob Cormier here. I've been doing handyman and home repair work in the Lewiston-Auburn area for 15 years. I'm a solo operator, which means you deal with me start to finish. I'll tell you straight what needs doing, what can wait, and what I can't do (I'm not a licensed electrician or plumber). I take on the jobs that fall between the cracks.
Drywall, tile, decks, doors, windows, painting, and general repairs. I'm not a licensed electrician or plumber, so I refer out for those.
Yes, that's actually what I specialize in. The jobs that are too small for a big contractor but you still need done right.
Most jobs are quoted flat-rate after a quick look. I'll tell you the price before I start. No surprises.

We had about 15 small things to fix before selling our house — stuck doors, broken tile, patchy drywall, a dripping faucet. Bob knocked everything out in one long day and charged us fairly. Total pro.
Lisa, hope the sale went smoothly! Those small things really do matter to buyers.
Bob rebuilt our old deck — sistered the joists, replaced all the decking boards, and added new railings. Solid work. Took a little longer than expected but he communicated throughout.
Had ceiling damage after a roof leak. Bob replaced the damaged drywall, textured it to match, and painted the whole ceiling. You'd never know anything happened.
Had Bob install 3 interior doors and replace the front door with a prehung unit. Perfect fit. He spotted rot in the old door frame and dealt with it too — would have caused problems down the road.
Frank, that rot could have caused real problems down the road. Good catch on my end.
Bob did our kitchen backsplash. The result looks really nice. But the job took about twice as long as estimated. He's a solo operator and I understand he gets busy, but it was frustrating to have our kitchen unusable for extra days.
